Tuba

The instrument I chose for the brass family is called the Tuba. It is made up of vertically coiled tubing, three or four valves, a wide conical bore, flared bell, and a cup-shaped mouthpiece. The primary material is brass (brass instruments.) Brass is an alloy made of copper and zinc. Other metals that may also be added to modify the characteristics include tin and nickel. The most common type used in the construction of instruments is yellow brass that contains a 70/30 blend of copper and zinc. It was made to add a bass sound to brass ensembles. It produces its' sound on a brass instrument comes from a vibrating column of air inside the instrument and that makes sound as the air comes out.
Very thorough, well done.
